English Veterinary Care opened its doors in August of 2015 in the community Atoka, TN. We serve the families of Tipton County, Shelby County, and Lauderdale County and we take pride in our small-town and laid-back community.

Our dedicated team brings to the table plenty of experience and expertise to provide for all of your pet care needs, whether routine or complex. We specialize in animal care for small and large animals. Our services are comprehensive, offering a lifetime of support and care to your animal companion.

Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice. 

Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.

Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.

Eligibility

Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School

Must be able to provide student PLIT
