Over the last twenty years, the pet population has grown in Vonore and the surrounding area. Tellico Bay Animal Hospital was designed to provide quality care for these pets and helpful information to their owners.

In 2010, TBAH moved from the small office in the shopping center to a newly built, self-contained office building.

With the new space and equipment, TBAH developed even better medicine for pets in the area and room to grow. Another Veterinarian was added to the team in 2015, and then again in 2020. Tellico Bay Animal Hospital continues to offer excellent care and medicine to their clients and plans continued growth in the future.

Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice. 

Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.

Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.

Eligibility

Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School

Must be able to provide student PLIT
